Lollapalooza

Heading to Chicago tomorrow to check something off my bucket list...

So very very very excited!!!  I have always wanted to go to either Lollapalooza or Coachella...and I'm getting the chance to go to Lolla this year! :)  Can't wait to tell you all about it.

What was your first tweet? (part 1)

I joined Twitter on June 5, 2008 and my first tweet was...

ahhh...not much has changed. :) Especially since I work with social media for 50% of my job.  Love the social media world.  It has been really interesting to go back and look through some of my first tweets.  I was certainly using it for a different reason back then.

Remembered I had twitter and started becoming much more active

Ahh working on my personal statement for grad school...a very important time in my life: 

haha very true.  In the beginning I had very few followers (not that 333 is a lot right now)

SUCH an exciting day!

This is probably the most seamless move I have ever done.  Besides the fact that the Pride parade, Taste of Chicago, and the Cubs vs. Sox was all happening the day I moved to the city...but it was the most emotionally ready and excited I've been when moving.  Felt good to get my apt set up and get out and explore the city!

 

Thus began my commentating on the public transportation in Chicago.  I swear I could've written a book about my experiences.  Hilarious.

That's all I'll relive for today.  I'll continue this as a series of posts because if nothing else, I really love going back through and remembering the memories. :) I hope the day treats you well!

Finally!

After months and months of searching I finally have Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation! Woohoo! I had to order it from the UK.  Hopefully all the searching has been worth it. I've seen it used in SO many makeup tutorials and raved about by so many Beauty Gurus.   It looks a bit dark for me, but I'll figure it out.  It was hard to tell my color over the computer.
Very excited to try it and let you know how it goes.

Well hello there.

Hello and welcome to my new blog.  I like to see myself as a lover of all things social media and the one thing I haven't truly embraced yet was....a blog!  So here goes my 2nd attempt at blogging (started back in 2008 but it was more like a diary and is now private).  I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to be talking about, but I can assure you that I will try to keep you entertained while here.  So, here's to the journey ahead and know that today is full of possible!
